Agom - cleaning business history

Mr René Welter established AGOM in October 1973 as a 100 % family business. The fact that he already had an experience of 20 years in the cleaning and maintenance – and knew the cleaning business thoroughly – gave the company great élan. Right from the start he was convinced that the structure of a family business was ideal for the kind of activities he wanted to develop.

In 1982, after completion of his studies T.E.W. in Antwerp, Patrick Welter – present Manager of AGOM – joined the team. Mr Patrick Welter realized several innovations, in the administrative as well as in the operational field, which resulted in a unique work- and control system.

Consequently AGOM conquered a firm position in the cleaning and maintenance sector. In 2003 AGOM celebrated their 30th anniversary. Indeed, since more than 3 decades AGOM cleans and maintains companies and institutions in different sectors keeping them spotless. The constantly growing number of customers and the high score of satisfaction are the result of the strong involvement of all co-operators (beginning with the shop-floor workers till the directors) in this family business.
